About the Wiring mess #

The wiring mess (Finnish: johtonippu) is an item found inside the garage at home. It is used to wire up the Rivett's critical components as well as accessories.

Wires are attached by holding the wiring mess on top of a part/connector and pressing F when the check mark icon appears, then holding it on top of another part/connector and doing the same.

Wires will only appear if the connection is correct — no incorrect connections can be made.

Wiring the Rivett #

There are a total of 25 wires that can be attached. They do not need to be attached in any particular order, and some wires are not required for the car to start.

Unlike in My Summer Car, the bolts on the battery can be bolted in any order. (In My Summer Car, tightening the negative bolt first causes sparking, and not disconnecting the negative bolt can cause the car to catch fire.)

Warning: Always loosen both terminals of the battery before attaching any wires — neglecting to do so may short the car or cause death by electrocution.
