Nolla inspection shop (Finnish: 0-Katsastus / Katsastus Nolla Oy) is a location in Peräjärvi where the player can take the Rivett to be inspected for road legality.
It's a returning location that functions similarly to My Summer Car, but now under different management (a chain), suggesting Lindell no longer operates it.
The inspection process is mostly identical to My Summer Car, but now offers two classes of inspections:
| Standard inspection | Historical inspection | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | 349 mk | 749 mk |
| What it checks | Basic roadworthiness — fastened parts, working components, engine emissions, presence of a warning triangle, and a spare tire | A standard inspection, plus a second process that crosschecks the Rivett's parts against its vehicle identification number (VIN) to ensure it meets original factory specifications |
| Plates issued | Contemporary (1972–2001) black-on-white Finnish plates, 6-digit format | Previous generation (pre-1972) white-on-black plates, 5-digit format |
| Certification valid for | 30 days | 60 days |
For 349 mk, a standard inspection conducts a basic check for roadworthiness. In addition to checking for fastened parts and working components, standard inspections also cover engine emissions, the presence of a warning triangle, and a new spare tire requirement — mandating a small enough wheel to fit in the Rivett's spare tire well. On the first pass, the player is issued plates for the front and back of the car. Standard certification is valid for 30 days.
For 749 mk, a stricter historical inspection comprises a standard inspection followed by a second process that crosschecks the Rivett's parts with its VIN to ensure it adheres to its original factory specifications. On the first pass, the player is issued the older-style plates for the front and back of the car. Historic certification is valid for 60 days.
Inspection results are presented on inspection receipts at the counter; if a historic inspection is performed, the player receives two receipts — one for the regular inspection and one for the historic inspection.
A successful inspection allows the Rivett to be legally driven on the highway and enter the Rally Sprint Race. The car does not require inspection-shop certification to participate in the ice track race, as the event conducts its own car inspection under folkrace regulations.
